For the love of—Love and Timing, and Us

I recently saw a Bumble dating commercial1 and it’s “holding hands – for the love of love theme,” makes me warm and fuzzy for a minute, and I realized the theme has similarities to our relationship concept at Co Borrower Hub—the idea of holding hands as a group, a symbol of collaboration.

In my personal life, that same message has been showing up as love, timing and courage. Even my mentors emphasize the same idea. I think it’s all synchronizing with a broader shift—a kind of social climate proliferating in the air and shaping people’s behavior.

Love brought us to this idea.
Timing made it real.

At Co Borrower Hub (your courage nudger2), we’re here for that intersection—where personal dreams meet shared decisions, and where timing finally feels like destiny.

Love is the Why—the direction.
Timing is the When—date of contract,
while Courage is the How—the force that connects the two.

Without courage, love remains an idea, and timing stays a possibility. Courage is what turns both ‘Love and Timing’ into motion.

Courage is the quiet brave…

  • to trust someone enough to share a financial path
  • raise your hand when opportunity knocks before you feel “ready”
  • and keep faith that building together is stronger than doing it alone

Courage plays a practical and emotional role. It’s part of love because it takes heart to be transparent and collaborative with others. It’s part of timing because it takes boldness to act when life’s opportunity come knocking—even if uncertainty lingers.

Is there really such a thing as love and timing?

Yes. In my opinion, but maybe not in the way most people imagine it. I’m thinking of “love” like choosing between a 7-to-year adjustable rate mortgage or a 30-year fixed—just my mindset. But to really ponder the question, “is there really such a thing as love and timing?”—it’s a fact that love is all around us (except that attorney who broke my heart). I suppose the biggest challenge is always timing.

Because…

Love and timing don’t always arrive hand in hand. Sometimes love shows up first—full of hope and possibility—long before the timing is right. Other times, the timing is perfect, but the hearts involved aren’t ready yet.

In life, business, and even co-ownership, one without the other can still teach you something. Love teaches you what matters. Timing teaches you when it’s real.

When people meet through Co Borrower Hub, it’s often that mysterious middle ground—where love for possibility meets the timing of opportunity. It’s not always romantic like the Romeo and Juliet type of love, but rather a form of direction, respect and shared purpose that are congruent.

Love says, “I believe in this.” Timing says, “Now’s the moment to build it.”

And when love and timing finally meet courage—something powerful takes root—holding hands, for the love of love.

A partnership. A property. A promise kept.

So, yes—love and timing do exist here. Romeo could be just a few miles away—newly pre-approved, and Juliet has just created her profile—a whisper between them says “this could be the one.”

Who Would Object to “Love and Timing”?

Not everyone believes in a love story… and timing. Huh?

I was inspired to write this after seeing the Bumble dating commercial on YouTube, and my first thought was that it reflects a kind of social climate—even though we’re still far from valentines day. It was a welcome break from thinking about my huge To-do list, and it nudged me to write about it. It stirred my imagination to express the components of a relationship-based platform for co-borrowers.

Some people object—not out of cynicism, but from experience.

Those who have loved deeply and lost might say timing is just an excuse—that love only belong in fiction novels or the movies. Those who have missed opportunities may feel that “timing” is only something you recognize in hindsight.

And the purely practical minds—the realists, the scientists, the mathematicians, the economic strategists—might argue that love and timing sound poetic, but life is mostly about planning, discipline, and decisions.

I think, even the skeptics3 above believe in the power of poetry—just different translation. They probably just have a different definition or wording.

Overall, “love and timing” isn’t from another world—it’s being human.

It’s the invisible force behind every moment that works—whether it’s a relationship, a business, or a partnership built on trust.

At Co Borrower Hub, we see “love and timing” in practical form:

Two, three or more people, each with different strengths, coming together at the exact moment—”strangers today, co-borrowers tomorrow.”

Some might object to the phrase. But no one can deny the courage—when purpose, people and timing finally agree.

This is love and timing—with your courage nudger, at your service.

Love, Timing & Courage form a rhythm—the human cadence of every partnership, whether it’s in business, relationships or co-ownership.

For the love of—Love and Timing, and cheers to Courage!
